Lunch & Learn: About Your Mouth

Have you ever wondered if what happens in your mouth affects other parts of your body? Would you like to learn how to improve your child's oral health? Find answers to your questions at Lunch & Learn: About Your Mouth on Saturday, June 27th, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. We are partnering with Bowen Health and McMillen Health to bring this fun and informational Lunch & Learn to the Library. After a lunch catered by Bowen Health, we will have two breakout sessions. The first, Oral Health and Wellness Throughout Life, will feature two presentations: Impact of Dental Health on Total Health and Adult Oral Health Recovery. The second breakout session, Early Childhood Oral Health & Storytime, will be a presentation on oral health throughout infancy and childhood followed by a storytime with readings of Hazel Does Not Like to Brush Her Teeth and Maverick Goes to the Dentist. After the break-out sessions, there will be time for representatives from both Bowen Health and McMillen Health to answer any questions about their presentations. Attendees will receive free toothbrushes, courtesy of Eckhart Public Library, at the end of the program. This program is suitable for all ages. Registration is required.
