POSTPONED: Jenkins Cemetery Presentation

POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE In DeKalb County, early residents of Concord Township built their lives, homes, and Jenkins Cemetery. The cemetery expanded alongside the town of Saint Joe, and its recently restored tombstones document the specific families and veterans who established the area. More than just a graveyard, this landmark is woven into the very fabric of the community and its physical history. Join us on Saturday, June 27th for Shadows of the Past: The Community and Jenkins Cemetery. This presentation will focus on the area's settlement patterns and why preserving this site is vital for our local records. Shadows of the Past will take place in the Learning Lab at the Genealogy Center from 10:00 - 11:00 am. When Dinosaurs Ruled...the Library, our 2026 Summer READ. DO.
